Pretty fabric, some shipping confusion

I purchased some Adire Cotton fabric. The fabric itself is beautiful, very unique patterns and the quality feels good. It took about 10 days to reach me in California, which was a bit longer than I expected based on other online orders I've made. There was a slight mix-up with the tracking number initially, but customer service sorted it out pretty quickly when I emailed them. Overall, a good experience, but delivery could be a little smoother.

Yeah, they really are! I got a chiffon piece last month and the indigo is super deep, didn't bleed when I washed it either. Was pleasantly surprised.

Hmm, I think it depends on the fabric. My cotton print was bright but a little less intense than the website showed. Still pretty though.

Tayes Adire's fabrics feel a bit more premium to me, especially their silks. Adire Lounge is good too, but I find Tayes Adire's patterns more intricate.

Both are great honestly. I think Tayes Adire focuses more on traditional Adire techniques. If you want something truly authentic, maybe go with them. Adire Lounge has some more modern stuff sometimes.

I'm pretty sure their free shipping promos are just for Lagos. For international, you'd probably have to pay. I did for my order to Canada.

They do ship internationally, but yeah, don't think free shipping applies outside of Lagos. You can check the cart for the shipping cost before you commit though.

What's the deal with their sizing for the ready-to-wear stuff? I'm usually a US size 10, should I just go with their large or size up?

I found their sizing to be pretty true to size for my buba and iro set. I'd check their size chart if they have one, that usually helps.

Honestly, I'd maybe size up if you're between sizes or prefer a looser fit. African fashion can sometimes run a bit smaller than US sizing, or at least that's been my experience with other brands.
